Privacy Policy

How personal data is handled through the Speedly website and its related platform services.

Last updated November 3, 2026.

1 What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data handled through the Speedly website at https://speedlyspace.com and its related platform services. Contact contact@speedlyspace.com for privacy, support and other enquiries.

This policy covers visitors, account holders, people making enquiries and advertiser contacts. Advertisers may use your enquiry details only to respond to your enquiry and for related dealings, and are responsible for their own obligations under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

2 Data we collect and where it comes from

Depending on the features you use, we collect relevant contact and account details; advertiser identity, role, licence and authority information; public listing content and property attributes; enquiries and stated preferences; support communications; billing and token transaction records; and device, usage, cookie and security information.

Usage information may include page and listing views, searches and filters, favourites, enquiry-button clicks, purchases, timestamps, referral source, browser/device details, IP address, approximate location and cookie or account identifiers. Account-linked analytics and personalisation are enabled by default and can be switched off in privacy settings. We use masked session replay as described in clause 6. We do not offer a precise-device-location feature.

We collect information when you browse, register, upload, make enquiries, buy services or contact us. Information may also come from your authorised organisation, the advertiser involved or other specifically disclosed lawful sources. Required fields and the consequences of withholding them are identified at collection; other fields are optional. If you contact an advertiser through an external app, that provider and advertiser handle the communication under their own arrangements; Speedly may record the contact-button interaction but does not thereby receive the external conversation.

3 Data use and commercial analytics

We use relevant personal data to operate accounts and listings; deliver enquiries; provide support and paid services; process billing and tokens; prevent fraud and misuse; investigate complaints; maintain security; and meet legal obligations.

We use relevant preferences and interaction data to measure engagement and demand, improve the Platform and personalise recommendations, subject to the tracking controls below. We limit collection to data necessary and proportionate for the disclosed purposes.

We may create, retain, combine, publish, license and sell authorised non-personal listing datasets, historical data, genuinely anonymised statistics, market reports, benchmarks, dashboards and APIs. Customers may include agencies, landlords, operators, investors, researchers and data businesses, for research, planning, benchmarking and commercial decisions. Private messages, contact details and identifiable user profiles are excluded from these commercial products.

We do not sell or license identifiable personal data. New uses unrelated to the original collection purpose require the applicable notices and permissions. Direct marketing follows clause 7.

4 Enquiry delivery

Enquiries may go directly to the advertiser or through Speedly’s enquiry or messaging tools, depending on the available features. Where we relay an enquiry, we share the submitted message and relevant contact details with the advertiser identified to you. We do not silently distribute your enquiry to unrelated advertisers.

5 Information shown publicly

Advertiser profiles and listing fields identified as public may be visible to anyone, indexed by search engines and distributed through Speedly’s website and apps, social media, email/WhatsApp and selected third-party channels, at Speedly’s discretion and without guaranteeing distribution or exposure. Advertisers should provide only contact details and content they are authorised to publish.

We remove or update content within our control when appropriate, but copies held independently by third parties may remain outside our control. Private enquiry messages are not published as listing content.

Clause 8 of our Terms and Conditions addresses copyright ownership and permissions for public content. It does not give Speedly ownership of personal data or permission to use or retain it without restriction. Personal data within public content remains subject to this policy and applicable law, including purpose, consent, retention, access and correction requirements.

6 Cookies, analytics and personalisation

We may use cookies, local storage, SDKs and server-side logs for account sessions, preferences, security and usage measurement. Account-linked analytics and on-platform personalisation are enabled by default. You can switch them off in privacy settings; proportionate technologies needed to operate and secure the Platform may continue.

Analytics cover page views, searches and filters, listing views, favourites, enquiry-button clicks and package purchases, together with relevant device, session and account identifiers. These records may be linked to your logged-in account to understand preferences and personalise listings and recommendations. Identifiable or linkable records are treated as personal data.

Session replay records interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation for usability analysis. It is enabled by default and can be switched off in privacy settings. Private text and sensitive fields are masked; passwords, payment details and unsubmitted private message text are excluded from replay and analytics.

We do not offer precise-location tracking. Cross-site advertising measurement and retargeting are possible future features, not part of the current tracking arrangement. Before activation, we will provide the relevant disclosures, controls and any required consent mechanism. The settings will explain the technologies in use and applicable choices. Browser controls may also be available; disabling necessary technologies can affect requested functions.

7 Direct marketing choices

With your consent, we may use your name, selected contact details and relevant property interests to send listing alerts, new-feature updates, package offers and platform promotions through various channels. We explain the data and marketing categories before this use.

Under the same consent (Section B), Speedly may also send offers from selected providers of commercial property, workspace and business-related products and services, including fit-out, relocation, furniture and business software. Speedly may receive advertising or referral fees or other benefits. Speedly sends these messages; we do not give partners your contact details for their marketing.

You may withdraw marketing consent free of charge using the message instructions, relevant settings or contact@speedlyspace.com. We will stop the relevant marketing. Necessary service messages may continue. Accepting the Terms, making an enquiry or leaving analytics enabled does not itself constitute marketing consent.

8 Retention and account closure

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including applicable legal requirements. When no longer required, it will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Account closure does not require immediate deletion of records still legitimately needed for service, security, billing or disputes. Access is restricted as appropriate; backups expire under the applicable backup cycle. Limited suppression records may be retained to honour marketing opt-outs. Authorised non-personal historical data and genuinely anonymised products may be retained for ongoing research and commercial use, subject to source rights.

9 Your requests and choices

For access to or correction of personal data, account closure, privacy enquiries or requests to delete data no longer required, contact Speedly at contact@speedlyspace.com. We may request proportionate information to verify identity and locate records.

Where permitted by law, Speedly may charge an administration fee for handling the above requests and will inform you of the amount and calculation basis in advance. Data-access fees must not be excessive and are limited to direct and necessary compliance costs. Data-correction requests and withdrawal of marketing consent are free. Fees will not be used to avoid statutory data-handling or deletion duties. We handle requests under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, including applicable deadlines and exceptions.

Use privacy settings to switch off account-linked analytics, personalisation or session replay. Marketing preferences are separate and may be changed through the relevant controls or by contacting us.

10 Security and policy updates

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and other relevant legal obligations. Our employees are required to keep all personal data collected, stored or used by Speedly confidential and are dedicated to safeguarding this information in compliance with applicable laws.

We take all practicable steps required by applicable law to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use. No system can guarantee absolute security.

This policy may be revised from time to time without prior notice. The latest version will be published on our website. A policy update does not replace any separate notice or consent required for a new use.

If the English and Traditional Chinese versions conflict, the Traditional Chinese version prevails, without affecting statutory rights.

A Enquiry collection notice

Speedly uses information submitted through this form to deliver your enquiry to the advertiser identified on the form, provide support and prevent misuse. Relevant preferences and interaction metadata may contribute to the genuinely anonymised demand analytics in our Privacy Policy; private messages and contact details are not included in commercial data products.

Your message, name and selected contact details will be shared with the advertiser identified on the form. Contact contact@speedlyspace.com for access or correction. Requests and applicable fees are addressed in clause 9 of this policy.

B Optional marketing choice

I agree that Speedly may use my name, selected contact details and relevant property interests to send, through various channels: (a) listing alerts, new-feature updates, package offers and platform promotions; and (b) offers from selected commercial property, workspace and business-related product/service providers, including fit-out, relocation, furniture and business software. Speedly may receive advertising or referral fees or other benefits for partner offers. Speedly sends the offers and does not give partners my contact details for their marketing. I may withdraw free of charge through contact@speedlyspace.com or the opt-out instructions.

C Advertiser upload collection notice

Speedly uses account, contact, authority and property information to manage accounts, check authority where appropriate, publish and distribute listings, deliver enquiries, provide support and prevent misuse. Fields marked public may be displayed on Speedly’s website/apps, social media, email/WhatsApp and selected third-party channels at Speedly’s discretion.

We may use authorised non-personal listing information and genuinely anonymised analytics for the commercial products and buyer classes described in clause 3. We do not sell or license identifiable personal data. Copyright and reuse permissions are addressed in clause 8 of the Terms; personal data remains subject to the Privacy Policy.

Contact contact@speedlyspace.com for access or correction. Requests and applicable fees are addressed in clause 9 of this policy.
